Last 13th and 14th December 2011, REINPO RETAIL project celebrated the 2nd Partner Meeting, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lyon and attended by the majority of partners from the countries involved in the project: Greece, Italy, France, Slovenia and Spain.
After an extensive revision of the current state of the project in which the partnership analyzed the work done up to date and their main tasks in the near future per work package, each partner in charge of pilot projects presented the advance of their pilot actions, sharing innovative experiences and best practices in retail sector from their countries.
Apart from the pilot actions that are being carried out by the five Chambers of Commerce in their regions that will be monitored by the University Development Center and University Incubator of Primorska, Region Abruzzo will conduct a comparative analysis of innovation in retail in the Mediterranean, with the final aim of developing a common strategy for the improvement of the retail model in the Mediterranean.
Finally, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lyon organized a breakfast with stakeholders managing innovative stores in Lyon , as well as study visits to the innovative business initiatives existing in Lyon such as the Cegid Innovation Store, the IWay or the Ouest Express.
